Several countries and companies have opted for a four-day working week and are running longer or shorter trial periods, while there are also examples of a six-day working week, with a related measure being recently adopted in Greece. Although the four-day working week is not suitable for all companies and jobs, research shows that it is beneficial for workers’ well-being, reducing burnout and thus increasing productivity.
