The Oeconomus Economic Research Foundation and the Batthyány Lajos Foundation organized a conference on the 24th February 2025. titled “Three Years of War – Preparing for Peace?” to evaluate the war’s consequences from economic, defense, and geopolitical perspectives. Experts and policymakers gathered to discuss how the conflict has transformed the economic landscape and how governments, businesses, and international institutions can respond. Key topics included energy security, supply chain disruptions, and economic resilience. The conference also explored potential pathways to economic recovery and stability in a post-war environment.
